Finally pictures from Christmas

*Now up-dated

I know it has taken me all this time to take the pics off my camera .............big problem -------the Popster is not working this week so I'm not able to "veg" for hours at my computer!!!! I will up date this post later.

This is LiLi's "red thread" teddy bear.

I just love the way she opens presents........every spec of paper has to be removed. One shred at a time! This girl could make Christmas last until Easter & then some!!!

She conned Josh into playing at the make-up/piano table............I don't know what he was telling her but we could hear real "belly laughs" from the other room!

Here she is singing pre-school songs with JoAnn ..............she loved it because Aunt Joannie knew all the words(from her first teaching job)!

Molly loved her new toy.

Miss LiLi being silly while we were trying to get a cute shot!

Am I beautiful?

She had a little "quiet" time on Daddy's lap.........she was tired from all the excitement.

This was during the piano recital

We were trying to get a group shot but this is all the "interested parties" we could get to cooperate!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY BIG BROTHER

Happy birthday to my big brother Terry...........have a wonderful day!

46 years ago...............................

Today is our anniversary & I  have decided this post will be my version about how we met.......Popster's version would more than likely not be the same but that's how we roll! It was new year's eve 1963....yikes!.......I was a telephone operator in a little town called Huntingdon in England.  It was about 3 miles from Alconbury, an amercan air force base.  All calls went thru our switchboard including ones from the base so consequently we got to know all the GIs.  we would meet them at the Nickel Coin.........pictured here during our coffee..... or should I say tea?....breaks & lunch hours.  Whenever some newbies were transfered in they would be brought to town to meet the local girls. It was not "love at first sight"......I thought he was kinda nerdy & he thought I was a "stuck-up english broad"!  It was a few weeks later when he asked me to go to the movies that I realized he wasn't so "nerdy", so I guess we'll call

Designer "doggy uggs"

Poor Molly has been having a hard time already this winter with the snow. She has good size pads on her feet which are "webbed" like a lab's foot.  When she goes in the snow it builds up in between her pads & forms a hard piece of almost ice-like snow.  Then she holds her foot up for someone to pull it out.  I decided to make her her own boots. Jessica had spent the night here as we went to First night for new years....more on that later.....so we "googled" how to make dog boots & then modified it to work for Molly.  Keep in mind these were boots you could make in 10 minutes.  It took approx 10 mins to measure Molly's feet.  Two hours later here's the results I did decide to make her 2 for each foot figuring she would be like any typical kid & lose a couple here & there. We had to go to W*lmart in the middle of the project to get velcro to make the fasteners.  We then made her wear them around the house for a while &
