New Year's Eve

We did our usual 1st night in Saratoga.....22nd year!
It was a small group this year just Mark , Dani, LiLi, Jessie & I.  Popster's in Florida playing golf & Tyler had a wedding to shoot in Troy
Don't tell anyone but these are my two favorite girls!
We went to a circus act
This was pretty good........ juggling 8 bowls, the rest of the show..........
 ...........just a little lame!
 Do you love her outfit.
The theme for the night was magic & this was the highlight of the evening....Michael Ray -  a hypnotist.  Jessica was picked to go on stage & be hypnotized along with 7 other people
It was incredible what he had them doing & the show lasted for an hour & a half.
This is where he had them dance as hamsters every time he played certain music.  He also picked her to be a "janitor" so every time he blew a whistle she would get up & find the mop & start cleaning the floor while he pretended to make a mess.  She ended up chasing him around the room with the mop.  I have a video but have to get permission from her to post it.  We were in hysterics watching.  The poor girl was exhausted when the show was over & didn't remember hardly anything that went on.
From there we headed outside to get some coffee & kettle corn.....bummer....the kettle corn guy wasn't there!!!!!  By now it was snowing these huge flakes so while we waited for the fireworks there was a snowball fight.  Don't mess with this girl in a a snowball fight......she had her game on!  All those years playing 1st base in softball.
As you can see in the background the snow coated everything & made it look so petty
Dani was cold & ready to go home

 A New Year's to remember!

Forever Family Day

Oh my.....where does the time go!  Ten years ago this scared & tiny little girl was brought into a room full of strangers. She was so confused by the strange faces. Now look at the beautful, confident girl she has grown into. We love you LiLi💖 Love

46 years ago...............................

Today is our anniversary & I  have decided this post will be my version about how we met.......Popster's version would more than likely not be the same but that's how we roll! It was new year's eve 1963....yikes!.......I was a telephone operator in a little town called Huntingdon in England.  It was about 3 miles from Alconbury, an amercan air force base.  All calls went thru our switchboard including ones from the base so consequently we got to know all the GIs.  we would meet them at the Nickel Coin.........pictured here during our coffee..... or should I say tea?....breaks & lunch hours.  Whenever some newbies were transfered in they would be brought to town to meet the local girls. It was not "love at first sight"......I thought he was kinda nerdy & he thought I was a "stuck-up english broad"!  It was a few weeks later when he asked me to go to the movies that I realized he wasn't so "nerdy", so I guess we'll call
