Mothe Nature did it again!

This was the view from our sun room at 7:00am this morning.
Mother Nature had decided we were starting to feel like spring was coming so she needed to do something!
School was delayed 2 hours.
Dog school was cancelled giving me an extra week to recover from this "comedy"
It is so mesmerizing to sit in the sun room & watch it snow.

As you can see by this it was very fluffy to begin with............
.....but then as the temps warmed up it got heavier.......
......& by 9:00am it had turned to rain.
Now it has started to melt it all & the mess begins........
.........there are puddles everywhere.

  1. Looks gorgeous. How can you have thick fluffy snow like that and then have rain and get it washed away all at once? Your weather is mad. Maybe that's where Molly gets it from, the weather.

WE are having a really cold blast this weekend....feel sorry for us. We have Lily's first ever "competitive" swim meet and warm ups start at 7am. Outdoor pool and it should be 47 degrees. Egads! Do you think they make thermal cossies?

    1. There is a saying about the weather in great northeast that is especially true in the spring...."if you don't like the weather wait 5 minutes.....it will change!"
Good luck this weekend....make sure you wear your snuggies!

Happy birthday to my big brother Terry...........have a wonderful day!

Forever Family Day

Oh my.....where does the time go!  Ten years ago this scared & tiny little girl was brought into a room full of strangers. She was so confused by the strange faces. Now look at the beautful, confident girl she has grown into. We love you LiLiđź’– Love

Yowsa!

I was woken up around 3:30am yesterday by thunder as a line of severe storms were rolling through the area.  My alarm goes off at 4:00am so I figured I'd just get up.  I was standing in the kitchen waiting for the coffee pot when there was a blinding explosion in the back yard along with a huge clap of thunder.  It was like someone threw a bomb in the yard....needless to say it scared the crap out of me & I was waiting for a tree to fall.  We didn't see anything & I left the house at 7:00am while it was still raining.  Popster didn't see this until last night but it had struck this big oak that is about 15 feet from our sun room.  It just stripped that piece of bark right off the tree  Makes the expression "Don't mess with Mother Nature" become very real!
