Molly & her new friend Miss Piggy!

I went to W*lmart yesterday & while I was in the dog food aisle picking out treats I heard a strange "snorting" noise.  I looked up & there was a 2-3 year old girl with her Mom & she had this pig in her hand.  I knew immediately I had to have it for Molly.....she just loves all squeaky toys!  As I stood there wondering how I could accomplish my mission without a scene several thoughts went through my mind.  Like "Enough browsing lady let's just move along!"  or "I am not above wrassling your kid for that toy!"  I decided to try a wait & see strategy & continued shopping.  I couldn't believe I had to go back 4 times before she finally left that aisle! Thank goodness the toy was still there so I was able to snag it.
"Hello there.  Who might you be?"
"How about if I bite your head!"
It is truly the most obnoxious noise you ever want to hear but Molly just love, loves, loves it & will not stop biting on it so it snorts!

Popster put down his Kindle with a big sigh last night....he couldn't concentrate on reading with the noise she was making!

I had it plopped in my lap at 6:00am this morning....I guess it was worth it!

Forever Family Day

Oh my.....where does the time go!  Ten years ago this scared & tiny little girl was brought into a room full of strangers. She was so confused by the strange faces. Now look at the beautful, confident girl she has grown into. We love you LiLi💖 Love

Yowsa!

I was woken up around 3:30am yesterday by thunder as a line of severe storms were rolling through the area.  My alarm goes off at 4:00am so I figured I'd just get up.  I was standing in the kitchen waiting for the coffee pot when there was a blinding explosion in the back yard along with a huge clap of thunder.  It was like someone threw a bomb in the yard....needless to say it scared the crap out of me & I was waiting for a tree to fall.  We didn't see anything & I left the house at 7:00am while it was still raining.  Popster didn't see this until last night but it had struck this big oak that is about 15 feet from our sun room.  It just stripped that piece of bark right off the tree  Makes the expression "Don't mess with Mother Nature" become very real!
