Give that man "Husband of the Year"

Up-date:  I got an e-mail from Marcie last night.....they made it home safely!

I have another Cr*ig's list story!

These things only happen to me!

It's like I am a magnet for these kinda people!

Anyhow my only thing left that I hadn't managed to sell was our was too big for the kitchen & as much as I hated to I put it on Cr*ig's list.  I didn't have any luck so I waited a week or two & reworded the ad & of course lowered the price.  I got a couple weirdo replies & then this morning got another e-mail about it.  I replied giving my cell & saying it could be seen any time.  Lunch time I got a call from someone who wanted to see it but had never heard of Gl*nville.  She took my address & said it would take them about an hour to get here.  They finally showed up, Marcie & Jim, & it turned out they were from Oneonta which is an hour & a half from here.  She loved the table, she really, really really wanted it!  Jim not so much.......reason being they were driving a Buick Regal & how in de heck was the the table going to fit????

They went back & forth for a few & then Jim asked if I had any thing he's taking the table apart!

Marcie really, really, really wanted it!

He put the base & legs in the trunk & thought he could get the top into the back seat.......after quite the struggle it was in there but neither of the doors would close!  Now picture this poor man had COPD & could hardly fact a couple times I got very nervous but Marcie kept suggesting all these different things cus she really, really, really wanted this table!

Finally they started all over & put the table top in the trunk with half of it hanging out & the legs & base went into the back seat.  I found them some bungee cords to hold the trunk closed & everyone was happy!

Well Marcie was ....I'm not sure about Jim!  She gave me a big hug & off they went!

I am checking the paper tomorrow to see there were any accidents involving table tops on I-88!

My car is pigeon-toed!!!!!!

I get out of work on Thurs at 1:00 & usually play golf with my buddy Dominic.  Yesterday was kinda rainy, blustery so we decided not to play.  I headed up to the mall but got side-tracked on the way.  One of the things on my extremely long to-do list was "get two more tires for my car".  I pulled into Mavis Tire & checked to see how long it would take.

I was told around 20 mins before my car would get in so I decided to wait.

About an hour later my overly friendly mechanic wants to show me did I know it wasn't going to be pretty!  My rear "struts".....whatever they may be.... were leaking causing the rear end to lift up when I braked causing my car to "pigeon toe" which in turn was making my  new tires .....that were put on the front wheels in wear unevenly.  As if that wasn't enough for my brain to digest one of the front wheels had a bad wheel bearing.

Needless to say at that poin…

Happy birthday to my big brother Terry...........have a wonderful day!

Round Lake Village

Every time we go to Round Lake we wander down streets we've never seen before
A little people house
This garden was gorgeous
Look if you buy this house you definitely need to get along with your neighbors!
This house is even smaller & comes with a golf cart
This house really fascinated me
That stonework is incredible
They need to make it a little more welcoming

They are still working on my house

I would love to see the inside.......I hope they plan on selling it & then I can go to an open house
