Photo shoot

After we got the Christmas tree home & in water I wanted to do a photo shoot for the christmas card.  I was met with a lot of resisitance from the troops & it took some bribery on my part( lunch at the diner) along with a little foot stamping & guilt trips before I got some cooperation & we eventually arrived at the nature trail
Not from the doggies though....as you can see they participated perfectly😏😏
Molly: " Just sit here & look like a fool.  She won't give up so you have to humor her!"
Luna:  "OMG these reindeer ears are killing me.

Luna:  "How much longer do we have to do this?"
Molly:  "Maybe if you looked a little happier we could cut a break.  Can't you fake it?"

Popster kept saying how do you plan to get a picture of all of us  I was like, watch me.  Yes I did.  I asked a complete stranger to take some for me. Popster & Jess pretended they didn't know me but hey you do what you gotta do!

Love Val💖

Today we have a riddle???

What do you get when you cross a pile of scraps, a sewing machine, a woman possessed, & a husband on a week long golf trip?  The following.........  This is a tablecloth for my kitchen table....forgot to take the finished pic  Cover for my sewing machine...very proud of this as I quilted the whole thing.  This is the back....got tired of doing squares!  Matching cover for my serger.  I meant to post these a while ago & must have forgot.  I have done a couple other projects since then which I will get around to posting soon.  Had computer problems so I have some catching up to do Love

Sewing, weaving & emptying the waterbed

Monday morning began bright & early as we needed to finish emptying our bedroom.  Mark was dropping LiLi off before 8:00am as she does not have school this week.  We needed to drain the waterbed before we could take it apart.  As usual we were having no luck getting the water to siphon out & even resorted to having LiLi (all 35lbs of her) sitting on it with us!!  It probably took over an hour & who knows how many tries before it worked.  Got the mattress out & discovered the decking was falling apart.....good thing we decided to do this project,,,,I was able to find a local place so we can just replace it & to be safe I also got a new safety liner & heater.  I don't want to be doing this again for a while!  While Popster worked on replacing the baseboard & window trim in those two rooms LiLi & I started working on this doll kit she had gotten for her birthday.  All the pieces needed to be sewn togeth...

C of O ....Sun Room...Day Twenty Three-Twenty Five

This came in the mail today which made me realize I never posted the last couple days updates.  They really all rolled into one as Jim ended up leaving at noon on Weds...it started to snow & didn't work at all on Thurs.  Friday he finished things up by lunch time but had to spend the afternoon emptying my garage of all his tools.  We had our inspection on Monday which wasn't a problem.  It has been so sunny this week so far so it is so nice to sit in there & enjoy the view!  Yes Molly hangs out in her a lot.....I have nose prints to prove she looks out of all the windows!
