Yeah Miss Molly..Obediance Trial

This is really old news from August but I have to post it

We had Molly entered in both Novice obedience & Novice Rally.  Popster works with her faithfully every day & has been taking her to classes all summer.  I have done nothing since the club matches back in April but I was doing rally with her as I have an easier time memorizing the signs.  My event was first &  we did pretty good( I messed upon one sign -10 points) but Molly still got a qualifying ribbon.

However she totally bombed with Popster...was so lethargic & just stopped & stared off into space during the off-leash exercise!  He was so upset but it happens to the best!
The next day was a different day entirely.  We were on in the morning when it was much cooler & Molly was at her best.

He had a sweetheart of a judge!
This is the 2 minute sit & stay
 The 3 minute down
See the dog that got up.....Molly never even looked at him!
Yeah a first place blue ribbon
She also earned a third place ribbon in rally with me.........a good day!

I think Popster's face says it all!

  1. She is brilliant. Well done to all 3 of you but especially to the 2 involved in getting the first place ribbon

Forever Family Day

Oh my.....where does the time go!  Ten years ago this scared & tiny little girl was brought into a room full of strangers. She was so confused by the strange faces. Now look at the beautful, confident girl she has grown into. We love you LiLi💖 Love

Yowsa!

I was woken up around 3:30am yesterday by thunder as a line of severe storms were rolling through the area.  My alarm goes off at 4:00am so I figured I'd just get up.  I was standing in the kitchen waiting for the coffee pot when there was a blinding explosion in the back yard along with a huge clap of thunder.  It was like someone threw a bomb in the yard....needless to say it scared the crap out of me & I was waiting for a tree to fall.  We didn't see anything & I left the house at 7:00am while it was still raining.  Popster didn't see this until last night but it had struck this big oak that is about 15 feet from our sun room.  It just stripped that piece of bark right off the tree  Makes the expression "Don't mess with Mother Nature" become very real!
