Easter & lots of music

Everyone came for brunch on Easter morning
LiLi read her note from the easter bunny & started looking for eggs without even taking her coat off.  It was freezing cold which so they were hidden inside the house.

Of course she was anxious to go play the piano so Popster gave her some new songs.  She had written a note to the easter bunny & in it said that if he was santa she would have asked for a keyboard.   That came up in a conversation between Mark & Scott & the next thing we know Scott had disappeared.
When he came back he told LiLi that when he drove down the street he saw the easter bunny put something in her dad's truck & run off into the woods.  When she went to check it out she could hear music.
 Look at that face!
The wonder of kids believing in magic.....I love it!

When I sent a pic of her with it to Josh & Jessie they both replied saying it looked suspiciously like one they had when they were both learning piano!

I hope that she always has a passion for music so she can carrying on the family tradition of always having a jam session no matter what holiday or family get together it is!

C of O ....Sun Room...Day Twenty Three-Twenty Five

This came in the mail today which made me realize I never posted the last couple days updates.  They really all rolled into one as Jim ended up leaving at noon on Weds...it started to snow & didn't work at all on Thurs.  Friday he finished things up by lunch time but had to spend the afternoon emptying my garage of all his tools.  We had our inspection on Monday which wasn't a problem.  It has been so sunny this week so far so it is so nice to sit in there & enjoy the view!  Yes Molly hangs out in her a lot.....I have nose prints to prove she looks out of all the windows!

Sewing, weaving & emptying the waterbed

Monday morning began bright & early as we needed to finish emptying our bedroom.  Mark was dropping LiLi off before 8:00am as she does not have school this week.  We needed to drain the waterbed before we could take it apart.  As usual we were having no luck getting the water to siphon out & even resorted to having LiLi (all 35lbs of her) sitting on it with us!!  It probably took over an hour & who knows how many tries before it worked.  Got the mattress out & discovered the decking was falling apart.....good thing we decided to do this project,,,,I was able to find a local place so we can just replace it & to be safe I also got a new safety liner & heater.  I don't want to be doing this again for a while!  While Popster worked on replacing the baseboard & window trim in those two rooms LiLi & I started working on this doll kit she had gotten for her birthday.  All the pieces needed to be sewn togeth...
