This beautiful nature preserve is right around the corner from our house...less than 5 mins by car
It starts off going down these stairs......
.......across the bridge.....
.......back up the other side.....
.........the trail levels out for a bit which is a good thing because by now my thighs are usually screaming!
......this is also where Miss Molly gets to run free.....
.........from here on it's a roller coaster of up & down.....
"When a tree falls in the woods does it make a sound?
Miss Molly got in trouble.....she ran down the hill & into the water!
This is the Indiankill which meanders all through the woods.....also part of it goes behind our property.
Now you have to climb "Heartbreak Hill".....Molly always waits for me.
See way down....that's how far we climbed!

it's GORGEOUS. You knew I'd be jealous didn't you? And look at the leaves starting to change. Sigh. It's hot here, and rainy oh and muggy with mossies the size of Eagles.
ReplyDeleteWe have had a stretch of the perfect weather 70-75 during the day, a couple day even reached 80, & most nights down into the 50's. Perfect to sleep with the windows open!!! Now you are probably green????
