Scott came over for lunch today & when he walked in he said he had a present for me but he had left it in the garage because it was kinda dirty & he wasn't sure I would want it.
"Are you kidding?" I love it it....dirt and all..........he knows me so well! Popster, on the other hand, just shook his head & walked away!
It so cool & I can just visualize it, with a "make-over" of course, hanging in my sewing room
Someone obviously made this...if you notice those are old measuring cups at the top...they swivel out & have buttons & pins in them.
It closes up & has a handle on the top to make it completely portable.
The backing & pockets are some kind of heavy material that was put on with upholstery tacks. Scott said he could make a back for it out of veneer....we'll see.
Just what I need with only approx 2 weeks before I go back to work! I still have a zillion & one projects that were planned!

Excellent find. What great stuff you have there. I think the tracing wheel might need a quick squirt of WD-40 but other than that it should work like a treat. And you won't have to push hard cos the rust should mark things perfectly.
