A Fourth of July date

I usually work on holidays so they become just another "ho hum" day.........however this year I declared the end of working them!   Popster took me on a date!

Of course as usual we were not alone

We were on our way to Cooperstown when I spotted this amazing antique store........I begged for one of these but it fell on deaf ears!

I was a "little kid in a candy store"
There was "stuff" as far as the eye could see....& then some!
I wanted this too
We then went inside & found bodies
See all the "heads" in the dresser on the left.....spooky!
There was even a little "porn"
We drove through Cooperstown so we could get to the Glimmer Glass Park to take a walk with Molly
Apparently we were the only people on town that didn't know about the parade!
We were literally in the middle of it for about 20mins....couldn't go anywhere!  A very nice cop finally told us we could follow along behind as long as we went "real" slow.  Popster had trouble dodging all the horse poop!!
We finally made it to the park.

Taking a slight detour off the marked trail

Then came the "gourmet" lunch he promised me
Check out some of our lunch companions...."motor cycle Momma & Poppa"  they could hardly walk but they were riding the two spiffiest bikes in the parking lot!
Lunch did come with a nice view!

  1. I want to go there. That shop looks a little eerie though.
    Odd date!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY BIG BROTHER

Happy birthday to my big brother Terry...........have a wonderful day!

Yowsa!

I was woken up around 3:30am yesterday by thunder as a line of severe storms were rolling through the area.  My alarm goes off at 4:00am so I figured I'd just get up.  I was standing in the kitchen waiting for the coffee pot when there was a blinding explosion in the back yard along with a huge clap of thunder.  It was like someone threw a bomb in the yard....needless to say it scared the crap out of me & I was waiting for a tree to fall.  We didn't see anything & I left the house at 7:00am while it was still raining.  Popster didn't see this until last night but it had struck this big oak that is about 15 feet from our sun room.  It just stripped that piece of bark right off the tree  Makes the expression "Don't mess with Mother Nature" become very real! Forever Family Day

Oh my.....where does the time go!  Ten years ago this scared & tiny little girl was brought into a room full of strangers. She was so confused by the strange faces. Now look at the beautful, confident girl she has grown into. We love you LiLi💖 Love
