Look what Mother Nature did.......

.....just for me!
Another "vision" I always had was sitting in the sun room (now called the snow room...thanks Dawn) watching it snow.  Well I guess that's why Mother Nature waited until now to give us the first real snow storm of the season. I have to thank her for her cooperation!

I also have to thank my wonderful husband for going along with my crazy dream & making it come true!

P.S  I'm never going to get anything done as I just want to sit here forever!

  1. It's so much bigger than I thought it was. The furniture gives it perspective. It really is stunning. Is it heated??? I mean I know it's meant to be a sun room but it isn't right now.

The snow looks so fabulous. We are heading to the UK in a weeks time and I am crossing my fingers for snow. It's been so mild there.

    1. It is technically a sun room or 3-season room they call them in these parts of the country, or it would be considered an addition which would raise the hell out of our taxes!!! Jim insulated the heck out of it including the floor & that thing next to the plant that looks like a piece of furniture & has all my cleaning stuff on is really a space heater in disguise. Don't tell anybody!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY BIG BROTHER

Happy birthday to my big brother Terry...........have a wonderful day!

Forever Family Day

Oh my.....where does the time go!  Ten years ago this scared & tiny little girl was brought into a room full of strangers. She was so confused by the strange faces. Now look at the beautful, confident girl she has grown into. We love you LiLi💖 Love

Yowsa!

I was woken up around 3:30am yesterday by thunder as a line of severe storms were rolling through the area.  My alarm goes off at 4:00am so I figured I'd just get up.  I was standing in the kitchen waiting for the coffee pot when there was a blinding explosion in the back yard along with a huge clap of thunder.  It was like someone threw a bomb in the yard....needless to say it scared the crap out of me & I was waiting for a tree to fall.  We didn't see anything & I left the house at 7:00am while it was still raining.  Popster didn't see this until last night but it had struck this big oak that is about 15 feet from our sun room.  It just stripped that piece of bark right off the tree  Makes the expression "Don't mess with Mother Nature" become very real!
