Excuse me but.........

....you are in my face!

I went to the gym at 5:30am this morning as usual & headed upstairs to do the "30 minute work-out". As I'm getting some paper towels along comes "Hyper-Harry". He got right in my face & said:  "Oh boy do I need my coffe, need my coffee.  I have it all fixed ready to go, ready to go.  All I gotta do is push the button, push the button"

I, of course, turned away & he grabbed my arm & started repeating it all.  At that point I muttered something like:  "Oh dear I do hope it's decaf!"

I went to a machine & started working out while he literally ran from machine to machine randomly!  He had to have had one (or two) too many 5-hour energy drinks!  I've never seen anything like it!  Every time he walked by me he would do the two-fisted finger point.

When I got down to one of the machines he had been using he turned around & said: "Change the weight to 40 lbs, change the weight to 40 lbs.  You can't do a 100 lbs, can't do a 100 lbs!  Only 40 lbs for you, only 40 lbs for you!"
Yes he repeated everything he said at least twice.....he was making me dizzy!  I go at 5:30 am
for the quiet, just me & my i-pod time!

46 years ago...............................

Today is our anniversary & I  have decided this post will be my version about how we met.......Popster's version would more than likely not be the same but that's how we roll! It was new year's eve 1963....yikes!.......I was a telephone operator in a little town called Huntingdon in England.  It was about 3 miles from Alconbury, an amercan air force base.  All calls went thru our switchboard including ones from the base so consequently we got to know all the GIs.  we would meet them at the Nickel Coin.........pictured here during our coffee..... or should I say tea?....breaks & lunch hours.  Whenever some newbies were transfered in they would be brought to town to meet the local girls. It was not "love at first sight"......I thought he was kinda nerdy & he thought I was a "stuck-up english broad"!  It was a few weeks later when he asked me to go to the movies that I realized he wasn't so "nerdy", so I guess we'll call
