Day 18 Recap

Today they had to finish setting the tile for the back splash but Davey started grouting what was done yesterday.....so I was able to see it finished

Here is a view of it before it was grouted so you can see the colors.

Even Molly was allowed in the room today!

Davey is putting in the last piece....we call this Davey's corner as he did the whole thing!

My dishwasher is installed.....so now I have a place to hide the dirty dishes instead of having to wash them!!!

I took a couple close-ups but the tile still has a little haze on it from the grout....it will get a final cleaning tomorrow.

Last thing they decided to put up the light in the dining area....it did not go well!!  Here's Molly with her "what is taking so long" attitude!!!!

Yes we have light!

This part of the kitchen will be done tomorrow.....I will have power!!  We are still waiting for the extra molding & skin for the pantry cupboard........so who knows about the other part.

Jim actually grouted 4 tiles today after he did under the dishwasher....at this rate my floor may be done by Easter!

PS.  Don't tell him I said that because I promised not to rush him!!!!
