The Big Little Reveal

I got up at 6:00AM(ugh) this morning so I could get the painting done......we were meeting Bob & Noreen at noon at the Plotter Kill reserve....so I didn't have a lot of time.

These pictures don't do it justice as the lighting is bad at night but it is absolutely way better than I imagined. It looks so elegant & I just love it! (The color by the way is an off white with a touch of lavender)

Be warned though it is a lot of work & not for the faint-hearted!



After finishing up & jumping in the shower & then the car with minutes to spare would you believe we hiked for 4 hours!!!! That's a whole other post.

C of O ....Sun Room...Day Twenty Three-Twenty Five

This came in the mail today which made me realize I never posted the last couple days updates.  They really all rolled into one as Jim ended up leaving at noon on Weds...it started to snow & didn't work at all on Thurs.  Friday he finished things up by lunch time but had to spend the afternoon emptying my garage of all his tools.  We had our inspection on Monday which wasn't a problem.  It has been so sunny this week so far so it is so nice to sit in there & enjoy the view!  Yes Molly hangs out in her a lot.....I have nose prints to prove she looks out of all the windows!

Sewing, weaving & emptying the waterbed

 Monday morning began bright & early as we needed to finish emptying our bedroom.  Mark was dropping LiLi off before 8:00am as she does not have school this week.  We needed to drain the waterbed before we could take it apart.  As usual we were having no luck getting the water to siphon out & even resorted to having LiLi (all 35lbs of her) sitting on it with us!!  It probably took over an hour & who knows how many tries before it worked.  Got the mattress out & discovered the decking was falling apart.....good thing we decided to do this project,,,,I was able to find a local place so we can just replace it & to be safe I also got a new safety liner & heater.  I don't want to be doing this again for a while!  While Popster worked on replacing the baseboard & window trim in those two rooms LiLi & I started working on this doll kit she had gotten for her birthday.  All the pieces needed to be sewn togeth...
