No up-date on bathroom

This is what we have been looking at for the last two plus weeks.....the false front was damaged & was also very crooked so I had to call my buddy Wolfgang who finally agreed to come out & look at it. He showed up with his "handy dandy" drill in his little "pocket book" & after trying unsuccessfully to fix it decided to call the manufacturer & get us a new piece.

I was watching him work & the only thing I could think of was "did your Mother name you Wolfgang because she knew you would grow up to be a nerd"

When I saw him to the door I noticed his car in the driveway............it was a yellow-gold & green station wagon!!!! Where did he get that from.....I don't think it could have been a regular color. Who else would ever drive a car that color????

It was new year's eve 1963....yikes!.......I was a telephone operator in a little town called Huntingdon in England.  It was about 3 miles from Alconbury, an amercan air force base.  All calls went thru our switchboard including ones from the base so consequently we got to know all the GIs.  we would meet them at the Nickel Coin.........pictured here during our coffee..... or should I say tea?....breaks & lunch hours.  Whenever some newbies were transfered in they would be brought to town to meet the local girls. It was not "love at first sight"......I thought he was kinda nerdy & he thought I was a "stuck-up english broad"!  It was a few weeks later when he asked me to go to the movies that I realized he wasn't so "nerdy", so I guess we'll call
