"I miss my bathroom!!"

Dennis L. & John came early Sat morning & "gutted my entire bathroom..........all the way down to the studs. While they were working they had the front door wide open (BRRRR it was cold & rainy) so it would be easy to carry the stuff out to the dumster ("tip" for you english people!) that was in the driveway. Miss Molly was in her glory....so much action......& was very nosy about the whole project. The room isn't that big & she would be right in there with them watching every move they made. After a while I noticed she kept running in & up the stairs, & then running back outside. Finally Dennis L. yelled "your dog is stealing stuff!" I went to see what was going on as she came running in, up the stairs & running back out with a piece of tile in her mouth. I went out to look & here she was laying on the front lawn surrounded by her "stash" of pieces of sheetrock, tile etc. She had been watching them & wanted to be part of the "wrecking crew"! She is too funny!

It is now Weds so we have lived without use of the bathroom since Sat.......not a problem there is another bathroom downstairs.

YES IT IS A PROBLEM for those of us that can't go all night without having to get up during the night to "pee"! Especially the ones that are too stupid to remember that there is now a hole in the floor instead of a toilet!!!!

Forever Family Day

Oh my.....where does the time go!  Ten years ago this scared & tiny little girl was brought into a room full of strangers. She was so confused by the strange faces. Now look at the beautful, confident girl she has grown into. We love you LiLiđź’– Love

46 years ago...............................

Today is our anniversary & I  have decided this post will be my version about how we met.......Popster's version would more than likely not be the same but that's how we roll! It was new year's eve 1963....yikes!.......I was a telephone operator in a little town called Huntingdon in England.  It was about 3 miles from Alconbury, an amercan air force base.  All calls went thru our switchboard including ones from the base so consequently we got to know all the GIs.  we would meet them at the Nickel Coin.........pictured here during our coffee..... or should I say tea?....breaks & lunch hours.  Whenever some newbies were transfered in they would be brought to town to meet the local girls. It was not "love at first sight"......I thought he was kinda nerdy & he thought I was a "stuck-up english broad"!  It was a few weeks later when he asked me to go to the movies that I realized he wasn't so "nerdy", so I guess we'll call
