Life from where we are

 I love this shot of Molly......it shows how happy she is because we took her into the woods to run  The water was high  There were beautiful wild flowers growing  Strange buds Pretty violets......but also lots of gnats because it's so damp.  They eventually drove us out of there!  Miss "Fluffy Ears"

I have been invaded by finches this year because I bought the expensive sunflower hearts that they just love......there is usually between 15 -20 of them at one time fighting over this feeder.  I like this shot because it's two males & two females sharing.  I even put up another feeder at the the other window & may now have to get a second job to pay for the bird food:)  The miniature rhododendron has only flowered maybe 3 times in 20 years....look at it this year!  So pretty!  The cherry tree is just opening  The leaves are finally coming out  I love spring flowers  I got some big pots of pansies from the store that were marked down to $5 because someone forgot to water them  Look how beautiful  This was taken a few days later.....the cherry blossoms are beautiful this year!  This is what I see every morning from my bedroom window.

 LiLi was on school break last week so Weds Popster picked her up to spend the day with us.   I worked in the morning so the two of them took Molly to dog school & had a piano lesson.  I barely pulled into the garage at lunch time & she was at the door "Come on Nana we have to get the store to buy the ingredients for the pie"   I grabbed a quick cup of coffee & off we went.  I just trailed behind her in the market as she walked around with her basket, shopping list in hand.  Every time she put something into it she would say " This is the brand we buy "  The child cracks me up!  We were making Key Lime pie & she basically did it all.  Has decided she was to be a Chef.  Specifically "Chef LiLi"  While the pie was baking it was on to coloring her fabric....this going to be sewn into a case for her iphone....we didn't get that done as it wasn't quite finished  The pie is done & BTW it wa...
