LiLi;s Dance Recital

LIli has been taking ballet since Feb & this weekend was her recital. She has been rehearsing every week for it & we were all wondering how she would hold up....especially after what happened Thurs. She was #22 in the first act & looked so tiny up there on stage but was so cute & really into her dancing. These picture were taken during the intermission. She was able to sit with us during the second act & then went backstage for the finale. Maybe her forte is dancing not singing?

LiLi's Graduation

LiLi had a little "graduation" ceremony Thurs in the cafeteria at he pre-school. Here she is with her teacher getting her award. They did three songs & the minute the music started she totally froze. If you look at this montage the only way you can tell it's a different shot is by looking at the little boy next to her! If you read her "bio" she won't be getting any junk mail or telemarketing calls!

HarryCedric comes to visit

Scott brought Cedric over to visit Sunday afternoon........he is the puppy they decided to keep. He was originally the one they had named Harry but the person that took Cedric wanted to use the name Harry so I guess they had a "name swap"? If that is what you would call it! The first 10 minutes or so he just snuggled into my neck & then when I put him down wouldn't come out from under the rocking chair. He eventually made a move & went over to Scott! Not very happy about it! Then he got more comfortable & started chewing Molly's bone. Can you tell how "jealous" she is!

Molly & the "new do"!

Molly finally got a haircut & looks like she lost about 20 lbs....it should be that simple for the rest of us!

One of my favorite pictures....in loving memory

Another year has gone by & I still wish I could pick up the phone & tell you everything that is happening .............miss you more than ever!

Vischer's Ferry Nature Preserve

Yesterday we met Bob & Noreen in Vischer's Ferry to take our walk along another part of the river. To begin we walked towards Lock 7 & the dam I found a couple of really neat pieces of driftwood for the garden. . We then drove up to the preserve & walked that section We were walking along the old canal which had this green, slimy water in....guess who decided to go it it??? Oh yes Molly! Here we are letting her swim in the river to hopefully wash off some of the slime! She is such a nut in the water! We plan on walking another section next week...............I guess she will not be allowed off leash!

Indiankill Nature Preserve

Saturday afternoon we took a break from working in the yard to take Molly over to the nature preserve. It is right around the corner from where we live & has always been one of my favorite walks. It i s very hilly so is quite a good work-out. It has been very dry this spring so the Indiankill doesn't have the usual amount of water in it. I'm not sure if this is a butterfly....there was a lot of them around but I didn't have the zoom lens with me so this is as close as I could get. This is the waterfalls & Molly just freaked out & ran around like crazy! When she finally came out of the water she rolled around in the dry leaves & then started all over again! This gives you an idea of how steep parts if the trail is. We call this "heartbreak hill"!
