JDFR 5K

At 10:00am after the kid's run the 5K was going to start,
This is "Team Nancy".  The gal on the right behind LiLi is Nancy ....Mark & Dani's neighbor & the race organizer.
This "Team Emerel".....more on that later

Our budding photographer taking pics of Mom & Dad

This is at the 1 mile mark
Mark was about 1 minute behind Dani
The race circled around & LiLi & I could just stay in the same spot to see them going by again.
Again Mark about a minute behind
You can see Dani's time finishing,,,,she complained she was too slow!  When she crossed the finish line they announced "Danielle "Emerel" of Clifton Park"!  He then corrected himself & said "Or is it Emerelli?"  LiLi was like "Nana you need to go tell that man how to say our name"
Here comes Mark...his time was 27.33(I think)
Dani won 1st in her age group!
Way to go Mark. Dani & LiLi!  Next up a half marathon!
Love

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY BIG BROTHER

Happy birthday to my big brother Terry...........have a wonderful day!

Molly bike riding????

Popster has been teaching Molly to run along side of his bike.  It has been a slow process but she's finally getting it.  They start off very slowly.......  then speed up a little......  which is when she gets crazy& decides to "carry" the leash......  gradually she feels more comfortable....  then she begins to gallop.... & the ears start to flap!!!!!

Designer "doggy uggs"

Poor Molly has been having a hard time already this winter with the snow. She has good size pads on her feet which are "webbed" like a lab's foot.  When she goes in the snow it builds up in between her pads & forms a hard piece of almost ice-like snow.  Then she holds her foot up for someone to pull it out.  I decided to make her her own boots. Jessica had spent the night here as we went to First night for new years....more on that later.....so we "googled" how to make dog boots & then modified it to work for Molly.  Keep in mind these were boots you could make in 10 minutes.  It took approx 10 mins to measure Molly's feet.  Two hours later here's the results I did decide to make her 2 for each foot figuring she would be like any typical kid & lose a couple here & there. We had to go to W*lmart in the middle of the project to get velcro to make the fasteners.  We then made her wear them around the house for a while &
