Life from where we are

 Meghan will be getting married in September & the shower was held a couple of weeks ago.  LiLi will be the flower girl & as she put it so eloquently to me " Nana I am not just the flower girl I'm also the pianist"   She will be playing the piano & has been working for months with Popster on the piece she is playing As in everything she does she took her role in the shower very seriously  My granddaughters sharing an inside joke   This was LiLi's gift which she designed & made herself (can you stand it😝)  Matching ice cream bowls with their names inside  She was making the hat out of the bows & ribbons  A beautiful creation  With her Mama Love Val💜

 A couple weeks ago we went to Meghan's wedding shower  LiLi got herself ready including doing her own hair  The braids were done while they were on vacation  I will post pics of the shower next time Love

 A couple sundays ago we decided to take a drive & headed out towards Cooperstown.  We had done it last summer & had found the neatest antique store so I wanted to go back. See that tractor .........we got stuck behind him on a narrow country road for about a mile!  No problem we weren't in a hurry!  Also found out there's no going back!  We ended up in Cooperstown & did not find the antique store......boohoo!  The lake here is the most beautiful shade of blue/green  We couldn't figure why there was a state trooper on every corner, tour buses, school buses & people every where!  Duh!  It was Baseball Hall of Fame induction day!  By the time we found a place to park 5 blocks away it was pretty much over with so it wasn't too crowded to take a walk around.  We wandered down to the lake  Then we got back in the car to head towards Oneonta to get Brooks barbecue.  There was no cell phone service or gps so of c

Every time we go to Round Lake we wander down streets we've never seen before A little people house This garden was gorgeous Look if you buy this house you definitely need to get along with your neighbors! This house is even smaller & comes with a golf cart This house really fascinated me That stonework is incredible They need to make it a little more welcoming They are still working on my house I would love to see the inside.......I hope they plan on selling it & then I can go to an open house "Mama I have flyaway ears again today!" A couple weeks ago we had a message from Bob that they were flying into Albany airport to go to a wedding at Hunter mountain.  They had a couple hours to spare so we were able to meet them at Saratoga Historical park for a short hike This is a bicycle repair station with all the tools you would need. Such a beautiful view Molly was getting impatient as we were busy talking & not going fast enough for her!  After our walk we went for a late lunch at the barbecue place.  So nice to catch up even though it was only a couple hours.
