By Golly Miss Molly....you did it! (day 2)

We had to be at the show by 7:30am this morning as Molly was in a rally trial at 8:00am & I was stewarding at the same time.  I was able to watch her as she was in the next ring,  They missed qualifying by 2 points but she did better than yesterday.

Her obedience trial started at 10:00 & I was still working, so could only watch from 2 rings away.  From what I could see she did way better than yesterday, however the judge took a long time talking to Popster when they were done.....not a good sign!

Apparently Molly blew the field away but  Popster had points taken away for talking too much to her, so they ended up in third place.

Still it was another qualifier so now she just needs one more to get a title.
The best part of the whole day happened as we were going to grab a cup of coffee & we bumped into the two ladies from the local animal shelter where we got Molly.  They knew her when she was a wild woman,  that first summer we had her & took classes over there with them.

They remembered her & just loved hearing about the fun we have with her.

  1. Fanatastic. Congrats to Molly and Popster.

The second photo didn't show up for some reason so I had to click on it. I laughed out loud when this bedraggled fuzzy "thing" appeared. I can't believe that is Molly she looks nothing like the Molly now. It really does make me giggle. Even her bandanna is all sideways and dishevelled.

The tramp is now a lady.

Designer "doggy uggs"

Poor Molly has been having a hard time already this winter with the snow. She has good size pads on her feet which are "webbed" like a lab's foot.  When she goes in the snow it builds up in between her pads & forms a hard piece of almost ice-like snow.  Then she holds her foot up for someone to pull it out.  I decided to make her her own boots. Jessica had spent the night here as we went to First night for new years....more on that later.....so we "googled" how to make dog boots & then modified it to work for Molly.  Keep in mind these were boots you could make in 10 minutes.  It took approx 10 mins to measure Molly's feet.  Two hours later here's the results I did decide to make her 2 for each foot figuring she would be like any typical kid & lose a couple here & there. We had to go to W*lmart in the middle of the project to get velcro to make the fasteners.  We then made her wear them around the house for a while ...

Molly bike riding????

Popster has been teaching Molly to run along side of his bike.  It has been a slow process but she's finally getting it.  They start off very slowly.......  then speed up a little......  which is when she gets crazy& decides to "carry" the leash......  gradually she feels more comfortable....  then she begins to gallop.... & the ears start to flap!!!!!

Today we have a riddle???

What do you get when you cross a pile of scraps, a sewing machine, a woman possessed, & a husband on a week long golf trip?  The following.........  This is a tablecloth for my kitchen table....forgot to take the finished pic  Cover for my sewing machine...very proud of this as I quilted the whole thing.  This is the back....got tired of doing squares!  Matching cover for my serger.  I meant to post these a while ago & must have forgot.  I have done a couple other projects since then which I will get around to posting soon.  Had computer problems so I have some catching up to do Love
