What not do do on Sunday morning!!!

I bought this ceiling fan about 3 weeks ago to replace the one in the living room that was making weird noises....you know the ones that Popster couldn't hear but I could!
We decided to tackle this morning.

The directions said it would take approx 45 mins for installation.

It took us 2 hours & 45 mins!!!

And to top it off I turned the fan on while Popster had his head between the blades!!!!

WHOOPS!!

Major WHOOPS!!

We will not be working together again for a few weeks!

In fact I was told I must hire someone to install any other fans I have a mind to buy!!!

PS.  Do you think the fact that I split a gut laughing had anything to do with that?

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY BIG BROTHER

Happy birthday to my big brother Terry...........have a wonderful day!

Molly bike riding????

Popster has been teaching Molly to run along side of his bike.  It has been a slow process but she's finally getting it.  They start off very slowly.......  then speed up a little......  which is when she gets crazy& decides to "carry" the leash......  gradually she feels more comfortable....  then she begins to gallop.... & the ears start to flap!!!!!

Poor Molly has been having a hard time already this winter with the snow. She has good size pads on her feet which are "webbed" like a lab's foot.  When she goes in the snow it builds up in between her pads & forms a hard piece of almost ice-like snow.  Then she holds her foot up for someone to pull it out.  I decided to make her her own boots. Jessica had spent the night here as we went to First night for new years....more on that later.....so we "googled" how to make dog boots & then modified it to work for Molly.  Keep in mind these were boots you could make in 10 minutes.  It took approx 10 mins to measure Molly's feet.  Two hours later here's the results I did decide to make her 2 for each foot figuring she would be like any typical kid & lose a couple here & there. We had to go to W*lmart in the middle of the project to get velcro to make the fasteners.  We then made her wear them around the house for a while &
