"Oh the weather outside is frightful........"

There was a winter storm warning for today starting at 9:00 am so why did I decide at 11:00 am to go to HD & buy paint????? I wasn't planning on painting today but made up my mind I now have to paint the family room a different color! Not like I didn't have enough to do between cleaning up the grout lines & getting all the "haze" off the floor! But no - I decide to go out as it hadn't started to snow & I figured those weather men are always ~~exaggerating~~ or whatever. Of course once I'm in a store like HD I lose all track of time. While I was checking out the cashier said to be careful driving & I was like why?? I couldn't even find my car in the BLIZZARD & it is bright red. Did I have a snow brush in my car? NO! It is normally a 20 min ride home & it took me all of that just to get out of the shopping center! I tried several ways to get home & had to stop to "brush" the snow off - with my bare hands & pull chunks of ice off the wipers! I finally pulled into my garage an hour & 20 mins later & had to "pry" my fingers from the steering wheel.

All I can say is I'd better LOVE the paint color I chose!!!!!!

Today we have a riddle???

What do you get when you cross a pile of scraps, a sewing machine, a woman possessed, & a husband on a week long golf trip? The following......... This is a tablecloth for my kitchen table....forgot to take the finished pic Cover for my sewing machine...very proud of this as I quilted the whole thing. This is the back....got tired of doing squares! Matching cover for my serger. I meant to post these a while ago & must have forgot. I have done a couple other projects since then which I will get around to posting soon. Had computer problems so I have some catching up to do Love

Molly bike riding????

Popster has been teaching Molly to run along side of his bike. It has been a slow process but she's finally getting it. They start off very slowly....... then speed up a little...... which is when she gets crazy& decides to "carry" the leash...... gradually she feels more comfortable.... then she begins to gallop.... & the ears start to flap!!!!!

This came in the mail today which made me realize I never posted the last couple days updates. They really all rolled into one as Jim ended up leaving at noon on Weds...it started to snow & didn't work at all on Thurs. Friday he finished things up by lunch time but had to spend the afternoon emptying my garage of all his tools. We had our inspection on Monday which wasn't a problem. It has been so sunny this week so far so it is so nice to sit in there & enjoy the view! Yes Molly hangs out in her a lot.....I have nose prints to prove she looks out of all the windows!
