The DUMB "Smart Clock"

This Emerson Alarm Clock Radio will never let you wake up late again. The dual-alarm AM/FM clock radio with SmartSet automatic time setting system is the intelligent alarm clock radio from Emerson! This AM/FM clock radio automatically corrects the year, month, date, day and time as soon as the power supply is restored, so there's no need to reset after an electricity interruption. Features AM/FM radio, slide-rule tuning dial, rotary tuning and volume controls, one-touch radio on/off switch. large, easy-to-read red LED clock display, adjusts from Standard Time to Daylight Saving Time automatically.

Does anyone else own one of these???? You'd think it would be terrific - right WRONG!!
Now they have changed daylight savings the "smart clock" does it on the wrong weekend!!! If you are too dumb preoccupied to remember to set it ahead so it can change back to the correct time it can be a problem! Especially when you work Sunday & have to be up! Luckily my dog knows how to tell time better than my "smart clock"

Molly bike riding????

Popster has been teaching Molly to run along side of his bike.  It has been a slow process but she's finally getting it.  They start off very slowly.......  then speed up a little......  which is when she gets crazy& decides to "carry" the leash......  gradually she feels more comfortable....  then she begins to gallop.... & the ears start to flap!!!!!

She has good size pads on her feet which are "webbed" like a lab's foot.  When she goes in the snow it builds up in between her pads & forms a hard piece of almost ice-like snow.  Then she holds her foot up for someone to pull it out.  I decided to make her her own boots. Jessica had spent the night here as we went to First night for new years....more on that later.....so we "googled" how to make dog boots & then modified it to work for Molly.  Keep in mind these were boots you could make in 10 minutes.  It took approx 10 mins to measure Molly's feet.  Two hours later here's the results I did decide to make her 2 for each foot figuring she would be like any typical kid & lose a couple here & there. We had to go to W*lmart in the middle of the project to get velcro to make the fasteners.  We then made her wear them around the house for a while &
