Oh March you can be so cruel!

These are from one of the the three major storms we've had this month.  Average snowfall for March is around 11 inches....we've had 32 inches this year & the last one keeps hanging around as it hasn't been that warm.
I know it looks so pretty......like Mother Nature decided to put icing on all the trees
The dogs hadn't had a chance to run for a few days so we decided to take them over to Jenkins & see if we could slog through the snow!

Molly has pretty long legs so you can see how deep it is right here
Luna manages to do her "leaping" action that propels her through it!

By the time we got back to the car Molly had huge "snowballs" stuck to her legs & it took forever to pull them off

It's so pretty but we've had enough winter this year!  It's time for some green again.
Love Val💖

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY BIG BROTHER

Happy birthday to my big brother Terry...........have a wonderful day!

Molly bike riding????

Popster has been teaching Molly to run along side of his bike.  It has been a slow process but she's finally getting it.  They start off very slowly.......  then speed up a little......  which is when she gets crazy& decides to "carry" the leash......  gradually she feels more comfortable....  then she begins to gallop.... & the ears start to flap!!!!!

Designer "doggy uggs"

Poor Molly has been having a hard time already this winter with the snow. She has good size pads on her feet which are "webbed" like a lab's foot.  When she goes in the snow it builds up in between her pads & forms a hard piece of almost ice-like snow.  Then she holds her foot up for someone to pull it out.  I decided to make her her own boots. Jessica had spent the night here as we went to First night for new years....more on that later.....so we "googled" how to make dog boots & then modified it to work for Molly.  Keep in mind these were boots you could make in 10 minutes.  It took approx 10 mins to measure Molly's feet.  Two hours later here's the results I did decide to make her 2 for each foot figuring she would be like any typical kid & lose a couple here & there. We had to go to W*lmart in the middle of the project to get velcro to make the fasteners.  We then made her wear them around the house for a while &
