Life from where we are

Sunday afternoon we drove to Bob & Noreen's house & were planning to walk from there to Peebles.......it's about 3 miles to the island & then the loop around & of course 3 miles back again.  The weather was a little iffy with the threat of thunderstorms so we drove halfway there & walked from this park.  These are side cut locks which control the water flow  This is where all the boats can dock before going through the lock.  Popster wants this one for Father's day..... hint, hint to any of his kids reading this!!  We managed to spot our share of deer this time.  Even Miss Molly spotted this one!  The other view of Popster's boat!   Hint, hint! I thought this willow tree was so beautiful.

This guy has taken up residence on my front door....I may have to start charging him rent!  I usually have impatiens for the hanging baskets in the front of the house but this year I found these beautiful begonias.  I love the delicate pink against the green leaves...so pretty!

I finally made it over to see the puppies....they are still a little wobbly on their feet but are so dang cute!  Grace is a good momma!

Yesterday was LiLi's graduation & what a difference a year makes.  She had the biggest smile on her face for the whole thing & really participated in all the songs.  Here she is getting her "diploma"  Check out what it says....she was so very proud of herself!  He she is telling everyone what she wants to be when she grows up A "Fairy Princess"!  Quite a difference from last year!  It kills me when I see how small she is compared to the other kids!  Check out her "eye color"!  With her two best friends. These are her teachers

Yuck......yes I am posting this at this "ungodly" hour.....my schedule in the summer gets crazy! Thurs is my day to open & it get light out earlier & earlier! I am sipping on coffee & trying to wake up.............

It has been 6 years today & you are still missed as much as ever!
