Life from where we are

I refuse to believe it's been 10 days since I posted last....where have I been? I have no idea!!!! All I know is I have lots to catch up on. We were in Indian Meadows & I got so frustrated trying to take pics of these bees....they were just buzzing from one flower to another. I realize that I just described myself...I also "buzz" from one thing to another never finishing anything but instead have 5 or more things started but zero finished. One day.............................................................. Love

The weather here is changing...... .......there is a feel of fall in the air...... .......a coat is needed early in the morning...... ..........& late in the evening..... ........I even wore gloves a couple mornings...... .......we will be needing to turn on the heat..... ......truth be told we've already had the fireplace on..... .......the one that you turn on with a remote! We pass by the back of this house on the bike path....there are 5 of these guys...aren't they cute? Love

Sunday morning we decided to go over to the river for our hike No we did not get another dog....Molly would never forgive us!  My neighbor broke her foot so we walk Katie every day Miss Molly with her BFF Katie This is the end of the trail we took It is the graveyard of driftwood Of course you know I ended up with a piece! Do you see the face in this??? Love

These are a few shots I found on my camera I believe I took them about a week or so ago....who knows! I am obsessed lately with trying to grow grass in the back yard.  It's looking better but far from meeting my standards.  This apparently is the year of the acorns & the oaks are dropping an abnormal amount of them.  I'm out there trying to carefully rake them off the new grass along with all the leaves coming off the tree that has gone into dormancy. It seems like we were just getting out all the patio furniture & now it's almost time to put it away! We had a couple cool nights & this week it's supposed to be in the 40's.....maybe one night even colder!!!! Definitely not ready for that! Love
