Frozen Tundra

We finally got outside to walk when it wasn't ridiculously cold & I wasn't wearing mittens over my gloves to stay warm.  It was above freezing for the first time in 10 days.
We took Molly over to Indian Meadows so she could get a "real" walk where she could run & be a dog!
Only problem we had trouble walking....
......on the frozen tundra. This looks harmless but all those footsteps are iced over so it was very hard to keep your balance.  Also if you didn't pay attention(like me) you could step into snow drifts up to your knees!

I took all these with my new lens.  It's a wide angle for landscapes & I'm loving the new perspective it gives me.

It was the perfect time of day to get some great shots.

Before I left for work Sunday at 5:30am I woke her up to look at it & didn't like the way it was swelling up.  I told if it didn't look better when I got home at lunch we were going back to urgent care. This is what it was looking like when we
