Snow & purging

We had another crazy storm system come up the coast& started to hit us late Thurs night.  There was about 3 inches of very wet snow on the ground when I got up but I headed to the gym at 5:00am anyway.  I am still using Popster's car(mine is still on winter hiatus) so I have to be back a little past 6:00am so he can leave for work.

Don't you know I'm at the gym for all of 5 mins when they decide to delay school by 2 hours......rats I didn't have to go that early!

By the time I came home again it was getting quite treacherous out.....thank you for 4 wheel drive.... but I didn't see one single plow.

Popster left for work & was back again by 9:00....they decided 10 mins before the buses had to leave to cancel school.  What the........!  It's not like they were short on snow days......why wait so long?

That was fine for us.....unexpected 3 day weekend but what about all the parents that have to work & now need last minute babysitting????

I went on a "purging frenzy" & the pile of "stuff" you see here is going to my hairdresser to give to her sister who loves to do craft as well as knit(the bags are full of yarn)& sew. 

I now have an empty closet...not for long!
