Happy "16th" Birthday Jessica

I cannot believe that this little girl is 16 years old today!

We were babysitting one sunny afternoon when you were almost ready to start walking. What did we do? We taught you how to walk with your hands on your head! For the next two weeks that was the only way you would walk!  Needless to say it did not go over well with your father!

You grew up believing in everything.  

You collected coffee beans...the ones that fell on the floor in the market & planted them in the back yard believing you could grow flowers!  We planted flowers one night so you would find them in the morning!  

You believed in Santa & the Tooth Fairy & the notes that both of them wrote to you helped keep that belief.

You loved to sing the car but only if no one was watching!  You belted out a very "mean" version of Shania Twain's "Man I feel like a Woman"! when you were only 6 years old!  That was the year I drove you to catch the bus to Girl Scout camp every day for 4 weeks.

You were also determined to pass the swimming test for camp & took it every week for for two years until you finally passed.

This was taken when you were 3 & were so thrilled to get a puppy for Christmas & no you're not strangling him!

Happy 16th birthday sweetheart & remember the gas pedal is on the right!!!
